The Aurex 6.5-Metre Aluminium Side Guard Profile Tube is engineered specifically for commercial vehicle bodybuilders, fleet operators, and trailer retrofits across Australia. Constructed from structural 6061-T6 architectural-grade extruded aluminium alloy, this profile delivers exceptional torsional strength while remaining lightweight to maximize legal payload capacity. Designed to satisfy Australian Design Rule (ADR) 84/00 and UN ECE R73 lateral protection requirements, this continuous underrun barrier prevents vulnerable road users, vehicles, and debris from being drawn beneath semi-trailer and truck chassis. Features an aerodynamic ribbed double-rail front face that cuts air turbulence for improved fleet fuel economy, integrated rear T-slot mounting tracks for seamless bolt-on bracket attachment, and smooth radiused edges that eliminate pinch points. Can be easily cut to length to suit custom chassis wheelbases and mates perfectly with Aurex protective end caps (ATP-TP-84) and 90° corner joints (ATP-TP-85).
